Fast Forward/Rewind

You may not know this, but my 2nd birthday is less than a month away now, can you believe that?! This year I am having a cupcake birthday - there are cupcakes on the balloons, cupcakes on the plates & cups, even my birthday cake is going to be a giant cupcake! Cupcakes are yummy :) So anyways, this past Saturday, my mommy decided to take some birthday photos of me in preparation of the big day. She got me dressed up cute and I played & watched TV while she snapped a bunch of pictures. Here are a few to share with you all!





I can't believe it has been a whole year already since my last birthday. I have learned so many things in the past year, would you like to hear them?



• I learned to walk a few days before my first birthday. Soon I was running everywhere, climbing on everything, and just having fun being on the go!

• I learned many words and phrases the past year, including my newest favorites "come on, let's go!", "shopping", "my puppies", "juice? cracker?", "my book", and lots of others I can't think of at the moment.

• I learned to "sleep" - not like that kind of sleep, but the kind where I fake snore & close my eyes. Then I say "night, night!"

• I learned how to catch and kick a ball, and playing ball is one of my favorite things to do!

• I am learning how to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "Moon, Moon, Moon" by Laurie Berkner.

• I learned how to count to 10 and can do it all by myself!

• I have learned a few shapes including "circle" and "octagon".

• I have learned to "feed" my baby dolls juice & milk, and I can do the sign for baby as well as say it.

• I know a lot of animals & their sounds like horse (neigh), sheep (baaa), cow (mooo), pig (snort), kitty (mew), puppy (woof) as well as some without their sounds including octopus, monkey, bunny, and duck.

• I am learning to hold my potty & go several times a day on the big potty like a big girl - and I get stickers when I go. I can read one of my stickers, it says "well done" - mommy thinks I just memorized it, but who can tell for sure? ;)

There are so many other things I have learned, the ones above just barely scratch the surface! Here are a few more pictures from my first birthday:





And going back 2 whole years, here is me as a teeny weeny baby!
