My Play Date!

It has been a few weeks now, and I know you are all anxious to know how my playdate with my friend Brycelyn went :)

I woke up from my nap and mom got my coat on, then we headed over to where Brycelyn lives. Mom let me bring my water cup in case I was thirsty. Well, I was more ornery than thirsty, and I dumped water all over my lap! My pants were super wet haha! Mom didn't think it was as funny as I did. She had to call grandma (who thankfully lives nearby), and have her bring me dry pants. While we waited for grandma, I said hi to Brycelyn and she showed me her kitchen and all her food! We cooked up a huge meal, but there were lots of dishes to be washed when we were done! It was so much fun!

Next we had snack time! Byrcelyn's mommy gave us yummy juice and goldfish crackers to snack on. I crunched my crackers on the floor, so mom had to sweep up the mess. Little did she know I had made an even BIGGER mess... in my pants. I am totally ashamed to admit that I dirtied my diaper - I usually never do that anywhere but the big potty. I guess I was having so much fun playing that I forgot to let mom know I had to go. Mom took me for a routine potty and got quite a surprise. I was so embarrassed!

After the bathroom visit, I got to meet Brycelyn's baby brother, Braeden. He sure is a cutie! I had so much fun playing with my friend and mommy had fun too. Hopefully we can get together for another play date real soon!

I also learned a bunch of new words after my trip to Brycelyn's house including "cook" and "baby". After meeting baby Braeden I am much more interested in my baby dollies, and I especially like the one from Nanu & GrandBob that giggles. I "tickletickletickle" my baby and push her tummy and she laughs! Stay tuned for even more things I have learned...
